When an opportunity arrives that allows for a unique perspective on working life, I grab it with both hands!
When Julie from Regional Radiology Australia asked me if I would capture some photos of her and her husband, Rob, for the November 2021 Women in Business Regional Network magazine (pages 34-35), I was more than happy to do so.
Until Covd-19 hit, Rob’s job in the medical industry took him to three different states of Australia to offer services that were not already available locally to residents. Unfortunately, they were not able to continue the services interstate due to travel restrictions, but it did open up opportunities to offer services in other towns within South Australia.
Flying his Jabiru to locations around the state, means Rob’s travel time is less than half of a road trip.
Whilst travelling to work in a light plane isn’t everyone’s ‘cup of tea’, it certainly makes for a great conversation.
